This is a super quick post to alert you to a recent study that found that Lacotbacillus reuteri increases vitamin D levels by about 25%. This is an extremely important finding given how important this vitamin is for health, especially bone health.

It’s been obvious to me that the decreases in vitamin D levels seen in many cannot be chalked up entirely to lack of sun exposure or inadequate dietary intake. I’ve suspected gut dysbiosis for a long time, and this study appears to confirm that belief.
